New Student Registration

These directions are intended for students (grades K-8) who are NEW to Fairview School District 72 for the current school year. Registration for Preschool and Kindergarten Students for the 2024-2025 school year is open!

Families moving into District 72 during the summer may register their child as part of a four-step process. All four steps are required before your child is fully registered with District 72.


Step One (online): Email the school office- [email protected]

  • For Kindergarten Students:
    • Age Requirement: Student(s) must be 5 years of age on or before September 1 of that school year.
  • Include the number of incoming students in your email.
  • Be sure to mention which school year you are registering for.
  • Please include the student's birthday and the address in which you reside in.
  • You will receive an email back with an online registration link.

Please note, residency is defined as having a permanent presence at a residence with evidence of living and sleeping in the home. Documentation of closing on home or proof of lease prior to enrolling in the district is needed. Please verify that your address is within the District 72 boundaries by visiting this website where you can type in your address and confirm your school district.

Step Two (online): Complete the Online Registration Form (use the link that is emailed to you from Step 1) which includes:

  • Demographic and Contact Information
  • Emergency Medical Information
  • Handbook Agreement and Permissions
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Vision forms required for kindergarten students
  • Dental forms are required for kindergarten, second grade, and sixth-grade students
  • Emergency Medical forms are required for ALL students
  • Concussion Form is required for ALL students (online)
  • An Athletic Permit is required for all students, grades 6-8, planning to participate in any sport during the school year.

Step Three (online or in-person): Fee Payment/Push Coin Lunch Wallets

Once you are approved you will be sent an email with the next steps including the directions to the following items:

  • Create a PushCoin account
  • Pay registration fee balance
  • Add lunch money to your PushCoin Wallet if you are planning to purchase school lunch.
