Fairview proudly serves the children and families of the vibrant and highly regarded community of Skokie, Illinois. Approximately 740 students attend Fairview South School, where more than 100 dedicated full- and part-time staff members work each day to ensure every child is known, challenged, supported, and inspired. We are also proud to have been recognized as a Chicago Tribune Top Workplace for six consecutive years, reflecting the exceptional culture our staff has built together.
Our mission is to create a strong foundation for academic growth and personal development for all learners. Guided by our Strategic Plan, we are committed to strengthening community partnerships, supporting outstanding teaching and learning, investing in our staff, maintaining safe and sustainable schools, and using technology in thoughtful, balanced ways to prepare students for an ever-changing world.
