Mission

The Fairview Parent Equity Advisory Group (PEAG)strives to foster community by supporting District 72’s commitment to educational excellence while creating proactive and progressive conversation around equity-centered topics among school staff, families, and community members. Our goal is to provide educational opportunities for the Fairview community that encourage self-reflection and broaden understandings of equity, focusing on topics such as anti-racism, economic disparities, and language barriers. The PEAG intends to highlight, celebrate, and acknowledge the diverse perspectives, strengths, and resilience of our community. By offering a space for conversation and engagement, we hope to build a broad and inclusive culture of belonging, connectedness, and curiosity built on the foundation of equity.
